Christina Yau

Christina is a HR professional with over 25 years of experience developing people for both MNCs and Asia-headquartered organizations.

 

She started her career at Korn Ferry eventually becoming a top consultant in the Greater China Technology practice. She earned positive reviews from some of the top global clients, including Lucent Technologies, Philips and a number of venture capital funded internet start-ups.

 

After some years, she transitioned in-house to Cisco Systems and Motorola, in charge of senior executive recruitment and development in Asia, while managing a team across the U.S., China and India and partnering with external suppliers. She then rose into HR leadership roles for Asia for Belkin, Lane Crawford and AIA, where she was a trusted advisor to the management team on all matters relating to people including organisation reviews, headcount planning, and succession and talent management.

 

Christina is a consummate professional who relishes a good challenge and the opportunity to think out of the box to deliver for her candidate and client.

 

Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, Christina was born in Hong Kong and graduated from University of Reading, U.K. with a degree in Psychology. She loves French culture, including fine wine and gourmet foods, and is also a film buff and passionate about health and well-being.
